Winter Conference 2007
This year's conference sessions for youth pastors, volunteers and student workers opened and closed with the theme of equipping people for youth ministry. National leaders provided free items, including books, CDs, DVDs, song books, iPods, and even a laptop computer. The first three things to go in a youth pastor's life are "diet, exercise, and devotional life," commented Chris Zoephel, co-director of National Youth Ministry for AMiA. Alan Armstrong, the other youth czar in AMiA, passed along some wisdom that he heard years ago: "As a parent, your job is to disciple your children and the friends of your children."
